Since 1952, my family has been involved in the flower business. My father started his small shop in Scranton, Pennsylvania and, some
years later, I had the honor of purchasing that same store in which I grew
up. Today, The McCarthy Group is a family of florists across six states.
Although we’ve grown as a company, my parent’s legacy of personal service and
the provision of a premium product remains to this day. Moreover, our stores are supplied with flowers fresh from growers and not
from wholesalers. Is there a difference ? Oh, about a week’s worth of freshness !
