Welcome to The McCarthy Group of Florists.
Brian McCarthy: CEO and President
Thanks for visiting the pages of The McCarthy Group; a private family company of florists that, over the years, has grown somewhat. Started by my late Father, Bud, in 1952, the group now includes some 35 stores across 13 states, making The McCarthy Group the largest brick and mortar florist in the nation. As we enter our 60th year in business, I pay tribute to my father and also my mentor and best friend, who passed peacefully from this world earlier this year:
My father, Bud, who started the company in 1952, as 'Bud McCarthy's Bokay Shop', passed away peacefully on Sunday 15th April 2012. Born, literally, in the year of the [start of the] Great Depression, 1929, Bud built an enviable business based on his two greatest beliefs: that winning a customer's trust and loyalty happens 'one person at a time' and that superior quality of product as well as immaculate design techniques would always stand the test of time.
My father's legacy remains to this day and influences our every decision. Where the legacy of my Father remains, we make our very best efforts to surpass your highest expectations. In that, we hope we shall always succeed.
