My stores would not be what they are today, were it not for the inimitable influence of my late Dad, Bud.
My family, friends and colleagues gathered in Scranton recently to bid farewell to my best friend and the
influencer of my life and my company. What started as a small seedling in 1952, grew to spread into the
branch network of florists we have become today. For this, I thank my Dad - rest in peace, Bud.

philosophies to this day - "Take care of one customer at a time, through superior service, exemplary 
designs and an innate understanding that our pieces must be reflective of that very meaning which you're

Brian McCarthy is a regular contributor to the monthly publication 'Florists Review Magazine'. Through his columns, Mr McCarthy offers business tips on everything from basic 'business strategy', through to selling flowers for major events, such as weddings and sympathy occasions.
